Wolves 1-2 Newcastle: Fabian Schar and Harvey Barnes score for Magpies

Newcastle came from behind to beat Wolves 2-1 and continue their unbeaten start to the season.

The hosts took the lead inside 36 minutes when Joao Gomes dummied the ball from a cross before Mario Lemina finished from close-range.

Eddie Howe's side got on level terms in the 75th minute when Fabian Schar's strike from distance took a deflection off Craig Wilson before flying into the net.

Newcastle completed the comeback with 10 minute remaining on the clock when substitute Harvey Barnes curled a superb strike into the top corner.
