Normality has returned to north London. After a lovely few days of sunshine the rain has returned to the capital and Arsenal are grinding out results once again.
When Jonas Eidevall resigned as Arsenal head coach on Tuesday after just one win in his opening four league games, this is exactly the kind of turnaround that the Gunners would have been hoping for when they handed the (temporary) reigns over to his assistant, Renee Slegers.
In the first game since Eidevall's exit, Arsenal overcame Valerenga in the Champions League to restore morale after the 5-2 loss at Bayern Munich.
And Sunday's 2-0 win against West Ham will also have done wonders for confidence.
While their victory over the struggling Hammers was never a particularly eye-catching watch, the Gunners made sure of taking the points that their overall dominance deserved.

After being frustrated by the home side for much of the first half, Arsenal finally found a breakthrough when Stina Blackstenius, who had earlier been denied by a brilliant save from Kinga Szemik, was brought down in the box by Amber Tysiak on 71 minutes and Spanish World Cup winner Mariona Caldentey converted the penalty.
Blackstenius was also involved as the visitors sealed victory a minute from time, her pass finding Rosa Kafaji who placed a first-time shot into the roof of the Hammers net.
Elsewhere, Manchester City completed their third comeback win in the space of a week to ensure they retained their spot at the top of the table.
Goals from Lauren Hemp and Jill Roord overturned a Gabi Nunes opener for Aston Villa as City won 2-1.
Johanna Rytting Kaneryd scored a brilliant brace as Chelsea thrashed Tottenham 5-2 to maintain their perfect start to the season.
The 27-year-old Swedish midfielder scored a spectacular leaping volley before jinking through the Spurs defence in stoppage time to make it five.
Sonia Bompastor's side are a point behind City with a game in hand.
And WSL newcomers Crystal Palace picked up a well-earned point in a 1-1 draw at Liverpool to move up to ninth place.
