Coinbase has launched regulated crypto futures trading for the first time across 26 European Union countries. This rollout includes perpetual and dated contracts, as well as a unique Mag7 + Crypto Equity Index Future. The offering, available through Coinbase Advanced, provides EU traders with a regulated alternative to offshore derivatives platforms.

Traders can access leverage of up to 10 times on select contracts like Bitcoin and Ethereum, with fees starting at 0.02%. Accounts can be funded in euros or USDC. This move positions Coinbase alongside competitors Kraken and Crypto.com, which also launched similar offerings in May 2025.
