Crypto.com has launched Crypto.com IRAs, a new retirement account service for US users that uniquely combines cryptocurrency and stock investments on a single platform.
The offering supports both Traditional and Roth individual retirement accounts. Users gain access to over 400 digital assets and more than 12,000 stocks and exchange-traded funds through the Crypto.com mobile application.
"We are giving consumers the ability to build their future with the best investment products and opportunities in crypto and stocks, all seamlessly in one place," stated Kris Marszalek, co-founder and chief executive of Crypto.com.
New deposits may receive matching contributions of up to 5%, and funds transferred from existing retirement plans can get up to a 2% match with no cap. The company offers fee-free account opening, asset transfers, and maintenance.
The service also allows users to stake certain tokens within their retirement holdings, with rewards directly deposited into the tax-advantaged account.
