Michael Saylor's firm, Strategy, has sold Bitcoin for the first time since 2022.

The world's largest corporate holder of Bitcoin offloaded 32 BTC worth $2.47 million.

The sale marks a dramatic shift for Saylor, who long urged investors to 'never sell' their Bitcoin. He previously signaled that a sale could happen to fund a dividend and 'inoculate the market' by demonstrating the move.

This is Strategy's first Bitcoin sale since December 2022, when its subsidiary MacroStrategy sold 704 BTC for approximately $11.8 million.

Saylor, a vocal Bitcoin evangelist, remained notably quiet about the sale on social media. He typically announces the firm's weekly Bitcoin purchases on X.

Strategy, the first public company to adopt Bitcoin as its sole treasury reserve asset, still owns 843,706 BTC acquired for $63.87 billion. The firm's Bitcoin holdings are currently valued at around $60.3 billion.
