Ripple is revamping the XRP Ledger’s security with AI at its core. The engineering team has implemented an AI-assisted strategy focusing on proactive vulnerability detection and continuous code analysis. A dedicated red team has uncovered more than 10 bugs, with some already fixed.
The initiative comes as the XRP Ledger handles increasing institutional workloads, processing over 100 million ledgers and 3 billion transactions since 2012. Ripple is also modernizing the codebase, collaborating with XRPL Commons and other validators to ensure robust security standards.

Stablecoins, like RLUSD, are becoming integral to financial infrastructure, with RLUSD surpassing $1B in market cap within its first year.
The next XRP Ledger release will focus solely on bug fixes, signaling the engineering team's commitment to enhancing security for institutional adoption.

Ripple’s AI-driven approach aligns with broader industry trends toward proactive, AI-augmented security.
