Strategy has acquired 24,869 Bitcoin for over $2 billion, paying an average price of $80,985 per coin. The purchase, disclosed in a SEC filing, brings the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 843,738 coins, acquired for $63.87 billion at an average of $75,700 each.
The latest buy was funded through the company's at-the-market offering program. Between May 11 and May 17, Strategy raised $1.9 billion by selling 19.5 million shares of its preferred stock and $84 million via common stock sales.
