Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has sold 1,869 ETH, valued at approximately $3.7 million, over the past two days. This move comes as Ether's price dropped from $1,988 to $1,875, a 5.7% decrease.

Buterin resumed selling ETH over the weekend after a two-week pause, bringing his total disposals this year to nearly 9,000 ETH, worth around $18 million. The recent sales occurred as Ether fell from $1,957 to $1,856, influenced by market reactions to global tariff changes.

Despite these sales, Buterin retains a substantial stake of over 224,000 ETH, currently valued at approximately $429 million, positioning him as one of the largest individual holders of the asset. Earlier this year, he allocated 16,384 ETH to support open-source projects focused on security, privacy, and decentralized infrastructure.
