The service features commission-free trading, fractional shares, and immediate funding options using USD or USDC.

This diversification follows Coinbase's recent expansion of prediction markets to all 50 US states. CEO Brian Armstrong stated, "The everything exchange is growing."

Tokenized equities, representing traditional shares on the blockchain, are gaining momentum. Platforms like Kraken, Bybit, and Solana-based DeFi ecosystems have introduced tokenized stocks from major companies. Fintech firm Robinhood has also significantly expanded its tokenization program.

Major financial institutions are showing interest, with Nasdaq seeking SEC approval to list tokenized equities and the New York Stock Exchange developing a platform for trading tokenized stocks and ETFs with 24/7 access and instant settlement.

Coinbase has also partnered with Yahoo Finance, enabling users to seamlessly transition from researching assets to executing trades. Yahoo Finance will integrate real-time data from Coinbase for asset discovery.
