Nvidia is bringing finance heavyweight Suzanne Nora Johnson onto its board of directors, effective July 13, 2026. The move expands the board from 10 to 11 members.

Johnson, a former Vice Chairman of The Goldman Sachs Group, will also join Nvidia's Audit Committee. She holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from the University of Southern California.

Her compensation includes an initial restricted stock unit grant valued at $255,000, plus an $85,000 annual cash retainer.

By adding a finance and governance veteran rather than another technologist, Nvidia signals a focus on strengthening corporate oversight as it scales its AI hardware dominance.
