LONDON, March 16 - Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta urged his players to deliver a complete performance at the Emirates on Tuesday against Bayer Leverkusen, with the Champions League round-of-16 tie level at 1-1.
Arteta’s side secured a late lifeline in the first leg when substitute Kai Havertz converted an 89th-minute penalty against his former club.
"A lot of factors will contribute for us to be in the quarter-finals," Arteta said. "We need to have every element in our favour."
Leverkusen arrive in North London confident after holding Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw.
"Watching them play against Bayern, it was very similar," Arteta noted. "They are really well coached, with a clear structure."
Arsenal-top of the Premier League and chasing an unprecedented quadruple-will be without captain Martin Odegaard and defender Jurrien Timber. Forward Leandro Trossard is fit. Defender Ben White trained and is available.
