BUENOS AIRES, April 9 - Argentina's national football federation announced Thursday that the team will finalize their World Cup preparations with friendly matches against Honduras and Iceland in June.
World champions Argentina are set to play Honduras on June 6 at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas. Three days later, they will face Iceland at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama.
The FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, commences on June 11. Argentina will compete in Group J, facing Austria, Algeria, and Jordan. Their title defense begins June 16 against Algeria.
