WOLFSBURG, Germany - Bayern Munich returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 victory over VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday, shaking off the disappointment of their midweek Champions League semi-final exit.

The Bundesliga champions, who were eliminated by Paris St Germain on a 6-5 aggregate, struggled to find rhythm early on. Harry Kane missed his first Bundesliga penalty after converting 24 straight, slipping before firing wide in the 36th minute.

Michael Olise broke the deadlock in the 56th minute with a brilliant curling shot. Wolfsburg's best chance came in the 89th minute when Mattias Svanberg hit the post.

Bayern, with 86 points, now look ahead to the German Cup final against Stuttgart on May 23, still chasing a domestic double.
