MIAMI, June 21: Cape Verde coach Bubista believes his team has showcased that dreams can overcome financial barriers after a commendable 2-2 draw with Uruguay.
The debutants now hold draws against Spain and Uruguay, inching closer to a potential knockout stage qualification. Bubista stated, "On the pitch, many national teams become equal, regardless of their stature."
He emphasized that aspiration transcends financial hardships, urging everyone to chase their dreams.
With two points in their group, Cape Verde stands third, drawing level with Uruguay and trailing Spain. Bubista remains optimistic about potential qualification, acknowledging any team could advance.
