Caitlin Clark returned to the Indiana Fever lineup just two days after a late scratch due to a back injury, scoring 22 points and dishing nine assists in a 90-82 victory over the Golden State Valkyries at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The win marks the Fever's third consecutive victory. Clark was not listed on the pregame injury report and despite missing practice the day before, she led the team in scoring and narrowly missed a double-double.

Fever center Aliyah Boston recorded a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds, the second-highest scoring total on the night. Clark also hit a deep three-pointer from well beyond the arc in the third quarter.

The Fever and Valkyries will meet again Thursday in San Francisco.

Clark's 2025 season was marred by injuries, including a groin strain and ankle bone bruise, limiting the NCAA all-time scoring leader to just 13 games in her second WNBA season.

Separately, Clark unveiled the cover art for her upcoming children's picture book, "EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams," scheduled for release in November.
