Pro wrestling fans are converging on Las Vegas for a major show as Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Mexico's premier wrestling promotion, makes its historic U.S. debut. In its 92-year history, CMLL is staging its first solo event in America, promising to showcase the distinct Lucha Libre style.

Star wrestler Flip Gordon, currently the National Wrestling Alliance's world historic middleweight champion, highlighted the significance of the event. "CMLL is on a hot streak right now. We're selling out shows left and right," Gordon stated, emphasizing the company's momentum and its creation of Lucha Libre. He expressed excitement in bringing this style to a U.S. audience.

The card features prominent matchups, including a champion vs. champion bout with Místico and Templario facing Hechicero and Ángel de Oro. Atlantis Jr., a second-generation star, will compete against Claudio Castagnoli. Gordon himself will team with Capitán Suicida against Máscara Dorada and Neón. The event also includes a women's championship defense and a highly anticipated legends match between Blue Panther and Último Guerrero.

Gordon, an American who represents Mexico and CMLL, shared his honor in being part of the historic show, aiming to exhibit his growth and the unique Lucha Libre style to fans unfamiliar with it. The CMLL show is part of Slam Fest, taking place at the Pearl Theater in Palms Casino Resort. The event is scheduled for Thursday at 3 p.m. PT.
