Atlético Madrid manager Diego Simeone has addressed reports linking forward Julian Alvarez with a summer move to Arsenal, confirming the Gunners are among several elite clubs monitoring the Argentine.
Simeone stated it is "normal" for his star striker, who has scored 48 goals in 104 games for Atlético since joining in 2024, to be targeted by top European sides.
"There is interest from Arsenal, Paris St Germain, Barcelona and other teams. But it is nothing we are concerned about," Simeone told reporters. Arsenal reportedly value Alvarez at approximately £87 million.
The focus remains on their Champions League semifinal pursuit, with Simeone emphasizing hard work and preparation for the match.
Alvarez is expected to play in the semifinal despite a minor injury, crucial for Atlético's attacking strategy.
