FC Bayern Munich will not exercise its purchase option for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson. The decision ends his one-season loan spell in Munich.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl confirmed the club will not activate the €65 million buy clause. The loan reportedly cost Bayern around €16.5 million.

Jackson contributed goals in both the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League during his loan. He was part of the Bayern squad that won the Bundesliga title.

Jackson now returns to Chelsea in June 2026. The club must decide whether to reintegrate him, sell him, or arrange another loan.
