Toronto officials say the first allotment of 220,000 free general admission tickets for the FIFA Fan Festival were claimed within four hours of registration opening.
Sharon Bollenbach, executive director of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Toronto Secretariat, said demand surpassed expectations. Premium ticket options are still available, and more free tickets will be released in waves, with the next batch on May 15 at 10 a.m. EST.
The festival runs from June 11 to July 19 and features live match broadcasts, entertainment, interactive experiences, and over 30 food vendors. General admission is free but must be reserved online in advance. Ticket holders will receive a barcoded confirmation on May 15.
