France's devastating attack carried them through the World Cup group stage with a perfect record, scoring 10 goals in three wins. Coach Didier Deschamps still has adjustments to make before Tuesday's Round of 32 meeting with Sweden.
The left flank has been less settled. Theo Hernandez hasn't fully convinced at left back. Lucas Digne is expected to start against Sweden, providing more defensive security. Further forward, Bradley Barcola may replace Desire Doue to add pace and width opposite the Olise-Mbappe-Dembele axis.
Sweden present awkward opponents. They finished second in Group F behind the Netherlands, showing enough physical presence and organization to challenge France if they lose patience.
"I don't buy it. Sweden have Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyokeres and Anthony Elanga. They are not a bad side, but they are nowhere near France's firepower," former England great Gary Lineker told L'Equipe.
Victory would send France into the Round of 16 against Germany or Paraguay.
