The viral World Cup fan known as Freddy, who has traveled across the United States for the tournament, is getting a new experience. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling invited him to its Slammiversary pay-per-view event in Boston.

Freddy posted on X that the wrestling show would be an appetizer before attending Germany's knockout round match. He expressed excitement about possibly meeting wrestling legends Jeff and Matt Hardy.

Matt Hardy, who will compete in a four-way ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship, replied online. He assured Freddy the event would be set up for him and looked forward to the meeting.

Freddy's journey has made him a beloved figure during the World Cup. His good-natured demeanor has landed him other high-profile invitations, including a visit to the White House.

The Hardys will face multiple teams in the ladder match with the titles on the line. The Slammiversary main card begins at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday.
