Norwegian forward Erling Haaland has achieved a remarkable average of 1.13 goals per game, the highest among players with over 50 international goals in the past century.

Haaland, now the all-time leading scorer for Norway, reached this milestone with 59 goals in just 52 caps. He surpassed the 50-goal mark during a World Cup qualifier against Israel on October 11, 2025, scoring a hat-trick in a record 46 matches.

Critics highlight that all of Haaland's goals have come outside major tournaments, with Norway not qualifying for recent World Cups or European Championships. However, he remains on pace to challenge all-time scoring records, with his 1.13 goals-per-game ratio unmatched in the last 100 years.
