New Delhi, May 14 - Virat Kohli, the 37-year-old batting legend, delivered another master class, scoring an unbeaten 105 off 60 balls to lead Royal Challengers Bengaluru to the top of the Indian Premier League standings. The former India captain, who now plays only 50-over internationals, credits his enduring success to his deep love for the game.

"I just love batting, even after all these years," Kohli said after the chase in Raipur. "Sport teaches you a lot as a person. You build your character under pressure. For me, it's still the love for the game."

His ninth IPL century, the most of any player, also made him the quickest to 14,000 runs in T20 cricket, surpassing Chris Gayle. Coming off two consecutive ducks, Kohli's innings was a masterclass in pacing, with only 62 runs from boundaries as RCB chased down 193 with five balls to spare.

Kohli emphasized that the passion of Indian cricket fans keeps him grounded and focused, stating, "Pressure is a privilege. It keeps you humble."
