LOS ANGELES - Organizers of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games unveiled the official visual identity on Monday. Centered around the "Superbloom," the design reflects Southern California’s wildflower landscapes following rainfall.
The core graphic features 13 blooms representing local culture and neighborhoods. Color palettes draw from the Bird of Paradise flower and native vegetation. Typography mimics distinctive Los Angeles street signage.
Design studio Koto developed the system for broadcast and digital use. This rollout occurs more than two years before the Opening Ceremony. Los Angeles prepares to host the Olympics for a third time in 2028.
