LALIGA North America has partnered with Polymarket in a multi-year deal to create new fan engagement experiences for North American audiences. The collaboration gives fans opportunities to predict match outcomes, interact with players, and participate in digital experiences.
The partnership provides Polymarket exclusive rights to use league and club intellectual property while creating a transparent engagement framework using sports integrity technology. LALIGA CEO Boris Gartner emphasized the need to move beyond traditional engagement methods to connect with soccer's growing North American fanbase.
Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan described the collaboration as bringing dynamic interaction to passionate global fans while introducing new ways for North American audiences to engage with the league. The prediction platform already works with major leagues including MLB, NHL, UFC, and MLS.
LALIGA has transformed under president Javier Tebas since 2013, becoming a model of financial stability and technological leadership. The league markets audiovisual rights worth nearly €2 billion annually and operates through joint ventures in North America, China, and Mexico.
