England and Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has received a 15-month suspended prison sentence from a Greek court concerning a 2020 incident in Mykonos. Maguire was previously found guilty of repeated bodily harm, attempted bribery, and violence against public employees after an arrest in a brawl where two police officers were assaulted.

Although initially handed a 21-month suspended sentence, Maguire was granted a full retrial upon appealing the initial convictions. His retrial was repeatedly postponed.

The 32-year-old was convicted on charges including non-serious assault, resisting arrest, and attempted bribery. His legal team intends to appeal the guilty verdict, meaning he will not serve prison time. Maguire's brother and a friend also received suspended sentences for their roles in the incident.
