Bayern Munich playmaker Jamal Musiala is nearing a full return to his top form, according to coach Vincent Kompany. Musiala, who missed significant time due to a broken leg, has been steadily increasing his playing time since January.
"Jamal is in a good phase at the moment," Kompany stated. "He's developed physically and is close to his best level, both in strength and willingness to run. The moments for 'Magic Musiala' are there, and it will come 100 percent. Even now, what he's doing is very dangerous in front of goal."
Musiala has recorded nine "scorer points" (goals and assists combined) in 600 minutes of play across all competitions. Kompany is confident that with regained freedom, an even more developed version of Musiala will emerge, making the playmaker a key asset for Bayern as they compete in the German Cup semi-finals and the Champions League.
