Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh is focused on recapturing his form in the Indian Premier League as the Lucknow Super Giants face a critical juncture in their season.
Marsh, who excelled in the IPL last year, has struggled to replicate that success in the current campaign, accumulating only 155 runs in six matches. His performance dip coincides with the Super Giants' three consecutive defeats, leaving them ninth in the 10-team league.
"I know that I'm probably one or two boundaries away from really getting going," Marsh stated, emphasizing his commitment to consistent preparation. He acknowledged the team's need for inspiration to avoid missing the playoffs for the third straight year.
Marsh believes there is still time to turn the season around, citing the team's strong belief in their ability to compete with top teams. He also referenced his recent success with the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League, though a groin injury impacted his previous T20 World Cup campaign.
Despite the early exit from the World Cup, Marsh's current focus is on leading the Lucknow Super Giants to their first IPL title.
