A house fire in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, killed NHL reporter Jessi Pierce and her three children over the weekend. Authorities say the blaze does not appear to be intentional.

Pierce, 37, covered the Minnesota Wild for NHL.com for a decade. Her children-Hudson, 8; Cayden, 6; and Avery, 4-also died in the fire. Her husband, Mike Hinrichs, was out of town on a work trip at the time.

The White Bear Lake Fire Department stated preliminary findings show no evidence of arson. The official cause remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Minnesota Wild general manager Bill Guerin called Pierce a “ray of sunshine,” adding that the hockey community stands united in grief.
