Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said his players need no convincing to believe they can overturn a 3-0 Champions League deficit against Real Madrid. The English side hosts the 15-time European champions at Etihad Stadium in a high-stakes second leg.

"After 10 years you have to convince some of my players about their belief? They know me quite well. Every single game we try. This will be no exception," Guardiola told reporters.

He canceled Monday’s training session, opting for mental rest ahead of Tuesday’s preparation. "It's related. The way you play, if you play good mentally you will be strong," he said.

City captain Bernardo Silva emphasized resilience: "We've done it in the past, plenty of times... we will fight until the end."

The task remains immense - scoring four or more goals against Real Madrid while shutting down their attack.
