Napoleon Solo captured the 151st Preakness Stakes on Saturday, closing at 7-1 to overtake the favored Taj Mahal at the top of the stretch. Iron Honor finished second, Chip Honcho third, and Ocelli fourth.

The race was held at Laurel Park for the first time as Pimlico undergoes renovations. For the second consecutive year, the Kentucky Derby winner did not run; trainer Cherie DeVaux opted to rest Golden Tempo. A 20-cent Pick 6 paid out $33,842.34.

The Belmont Stakes, the final leg of the Triple Crown, is scheduled for June 6 at Saratoga.
