American sprinter Fred Kerley has been suspended for two years by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) after missing three out-of-competition drug tests within a 12-month period. This violation, known as "whereabouts failures," led to the ban.
Kerley, a Tokyo Olympics silver medalist and 2022 World Champion in the 100 meters, has accumulated six world championship medals.
