Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa anticipates a strong response against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals, aiming to rebound from a weekend La Liga defeat. The 2-1 loss to Mallorca has left Real seven points behind league leaders Barcelona.

Arbeloa stated, "All we're thinking about is winning tomorrow." Real faces a formidable Bayern side, currently nine points clear in the Bundesliga and boasting a strong Champions League record.

"They're aggressive in defence, they're fearless, they're brave," Arbeloa described Bayern's approach. "They're a very well-rounded team with plenty of weapons to cause damage."

Despite the challenges, Arbeloa expressed confidence in Real's European pedigree. "A Madrid side that has always stood up to top-class opponents," he added, referencing their history against Bayern and a prior dominant aggregate victory over Manchester City.

Separately, winger Vinicius Jr. reiterated his desire to stay at Real Madrid for "many years," nearing the final year of his contract. The Brazilian has rediscovered his form this season, contributing 17 goals and 13 assists. Vinicius highlighted his personal growth and strong relationship with manager Arbeloa, stating, "I have a great rapport with Arbeloa and he's given me a real boost of confidence."
