Royce Keys, a 6-foot-1 native of East Palo Alto, California, has arrived on WWE SmackDown with a mission to dominate. His journey to sports entertainment's biggest stage was marked by grinding on the independent scene, a stint in All Elite Wrestling, and a devastating personal loss: his mother's fatal overdose in 2021. Keys credits his grandparents and his mother's spirit for pushing him forward to his WWE debut in 2026.

"I like to say I was born to be a professional wrestler," Keys told Fox News Digital. He made his debut as a surprise entrant in the men's Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, an experience he describes as nerve-racking but meant to be. After working dark matches, Keys defeated Berto in his first SmackDown appearance and then won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the eve of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Keys brings an X-factor defined by intensity and domination. "I'd like to be that 'monstar' that's going to change, help or elevate the game," he said. His sights are set on the Undisputed WWE Championship and the United States Championship, operating under one motto: "I take everything I want."
