Manager Liam Rosenior is demanding a "culture of accountability" at Chelsea after the team's disciplinary issues continued with a second straight red card.
Pedro Neto was sent off during Sunday's 2-1 Premier League loss to Arsenal, marking the second consecutive game where Chelsea finished with 10 men. Neto received a second yellow card for dissent and a subsequent foul.
This follows a draw against Burnley where Wesley Fofana also received two yellow cards. Chelsea, currently winless in their last three league matches, have dropped to sixth place. Rosenior stated, "My job is to create a culture of accountability, whereby if you make a mistake, you hold your hands up and make sure it doesn't happen again."
Disciplinary problems have plagued the club this season, with four red cards issued in a six-match span earlier in the season under the previous manager. Rosenior emphasized the need for immediate improvement in player behavior to achieve the club's goals.
