Terrion Arnold, the Detroit Lions’ 2024 first-round draft pick, turned himself in Wednesday night to face charges of kidnapping and armed robbery, according to the Tampa Police Department. Arnold, 23, is charged with four counts of each felony for his alleged role in a February 4 incident that left three teenage victims injured.

Investigators allege Arnold rented an Airbnb in Largo, Florida, where he and several co-defendants stayed. After reporting a theft of over $250,000 in personal property-including items belonging to Arnold-he suspected two of the victims, though police later cleared them. On February 3, Arnold and others coordinated with two women to lure the victims to a Tampa apartment.

Once the victims arrived, hidden accomplices allegedly held them at gunpoint, pistol-whipped and robbed them. Police say a woman streamed the assault to Arnold and others, who later arrived at the scene. Investigators recovered a group chat in which Arnold allegedly gave directions during the robbery. Authorities say Arnold was the primary organizer of the scheme. The victims later identified their attackers.

Arnold was the Lions’ 24th overall pick in 2024 out of Alabama. He recorded his first career interception in 2025 before a shoulder injury limited him to eight games. The NFL said it is aware of the matter and in contact with the club.
