Uncapped utility forward Ryan Woodman and prop Keiron Assiratti have joined Wales' Six Nations squad for their upcoming match against Ireland in Dublin. The Welsh Rugby Union confirmed the additions on Sunday.

The 22-year-old Woodman from Dragons replaces injured lock Rhys Davies and back-rower Taine Plumtree, both out for the rest of the tournament. Woodman has previously trained with the senior team.

Cardiff's Assiratti rejoins the squad after an earlier calf injury sidelined him before the competition's opening fixture. Wales is also monitoring the fitness of flyhalf Sam Costelow ahead of the Dublin encounter, where they aim to end a 15-game Six Nations winless streak.
