Portugal midfielder Vitinha says the team is driven by the goal of winning the 2026 World Cup alongside captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I hope we can win the World Cup with him and for him," Vitinha told FIFA. He praised Ronaldo's unmatched professionalism and work ethic.
Portugal is in Group K with DR Congo, Uzbekistan, and Colombia. Head coach Roberto Martinez has named his final squad, blending young talent with Ronaldo's leadership.
"We just want to win," Vitinha said. "We have to take things step by step. Right now, our focus has to be on the group stage."
