Las Vegas is set to host an array of professional wrestling events, with independent promotion West Coast Pro offering a showcase of the sport in its "rawest form." Owner Scott Bregante emphasized the company's dedication to authentic storytelling and spotlighting emerging talent, distinguishing it from mainstream sports entertainment.
"I think wrestling is beautiful in its rawest form and that is telling stories, putting a spotlight on up-and-coming people, getting people emotionally involved, just in the basics," Bregante told Fox News Digital. He highlighted that West Coast Pro prioritizes strong wrestling and compelling narratives over influencer-driven entertainment.
Among the promotion's standout performers is women's world champion Johnnie Robbie. Bregante described Robbie as a relatable yet aspirational figure whose journey, including overcoming a severe neck injury, adds depth to her in-ring prowess. He considers her one of the world's top talents, capable of headlining any show.
West Coast Pro's "West Coast vs. The World" card in Las Vegas features Robbie defending her championship against Mio Momono. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m. PT at the Bizarre Bar.
