AlphaTON Capital has officially rebranded as Alpha Compute Corp., with its shares now trading on Nasdaq under the ticker ALP. This strategic shift emphasizes the company's focus on AI GPU as a service and confidential compute infrastructure.

The name change aligns with a significant increase in demand for scalable AI infrastructure designed for privacy-preserving workloads. This rebrand formalizes a strategy the company has been developing over recent months.

Earlier this year, AlphaTON announced a capital raise of $44 million, generating revenue from confidential compute infrastructure, and supporting Telegram's Cocoon AI launch with deployed GPU capacity. The company also highlighted plans for Nvidia B200 and B300 systems.

Alpha Compute enters this new chapter with several key deals continuing, including a $43 million AI infrastructure partnership with Vertical Data, ongoing support for Telegram's Cocoon AI, and the acquisition of GAMEE.

In March, Animoca Brands announced AlphaTON's agreement to acquire a 60% stake in GAMEE, a gaming platform with over 119 million users, aimed at expanding its Telegram ecosystem.

The rebrand also occurs amidst Nasdaq listing scrutiny. AlphaTON received a deficiency notice for failing to maintain a minimum share price of $1 for 30 consecutive business days, with a deadline of August 31, 2026, to regain compliance. The transition to Alpha Compute aims to clarify its market identity around AI infrastructure.
