Booz Allen Hamilton, the largest provider of AI services to the US federal government, is partnering with OpenAI. The collaboration will focus on developing and deploying artificial intelligence solutions aimed at national security and critical infrastructure.
Both companies are already members of the US AI Safety Institute Consortium, or AISIC, which was established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology earlier this year to create guardrails for AI development.
This move expands Booz Allen's AI footprint, which includes a previous venture with Andreessen Horowitz and AI-powered wargaming partnerships. Generative AI applications in national security could include automated intelligence reports and real-time threat assessment.
The partnership underscores the growing integration of frontier AI models into sensitive government and defense operations.
