The invisible rhythms of the Bitcoin network can now be heard. Casa co-founder and CSO Jameson Lopp has launched Proof of Sound, a platform that translates real-time blockchain data into music and visuals.
The system pulls its data from mempool.space, monitoring network congestion, block formation, and transaction fees. These metrics are directly mapped to auditory compositions and tempo. At launch, it registered a network tension rate of 74 beats per minute.
Designed by Spotkolours, the project is a stark departure from modern crypto launches. It contains no wallets, no tokens, and no financial functionality. It collects no user data and requires no sign-up, existing solely as a sensory experiment in blockchain transparency.
This continues Lopp’s pattern of making complex Bitcoin data accessible. His previous project, Statoshi.info, provided granular node analytics for technical operators. Proof of Sound aims to make that same network activity intuitive for anyone with a browser.
