CoreWeave Inc. has announced a multiyear contract to provide cloud infrastructure for Anthropic PBC. The agreement, which begins later this year, will support Anthropic's development and deployment of its Claude AI models, indicating both training and inference workloads will be managed on CoreWeave's platform.
While the financial terms were not disclosed, CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator confirmed Anthropic will utilize a variety of Nvidia Corp. chips within U.S. data centers. This includes advanced processors designed for AI acceleration.
The partnership follows CoreWeave's recent expansion of its infrastructure deal with Meta Platforms Inc. CoreWeave operates over 43 data centers, offering dedicated, single-tenant clusters for its largest clients. The company's infrastructure is reportedly used by nine of the world's top ten AI model providers, including OpenAI, which has a substantial existing agreement with CoreWeave.
