Google Finance, the two-decade-old web service, now has a standalone mobile app for the first time. The initial release is Android-only, with iOS availability later in 2026.
The launch accompanies the official rollout of an AI-driven redesign for the Finance website, embedding a chatbot into the core experience. On mobile, users can create watchlists, monitor real-time market data, and follow financial news. Generative AI automatically highlights “key moments” on price charts to explain market swings. A floating “Ask” button lets users converse with Google's finance-tuned bot, with chat history stored for easy recall.
