Krane Inc. has raised $9 million in seed funding to accelerate development of its AI-driven construction supply chain platform.
Founded in 2022 by licensed engineer Eshan Jayamanne, Krane consolidates fragmented procurement, scheduling, and logistics data into a single system. The platform ingests information from tools like Autodesk, Procore, and Oracle Primavera P6, then applies AI agents to automate material tracking, submittals, supplier coordination, and purchase orders.
The system delivers real-time visibility into lead times and delivery schedules, reducing manual coordination. Early adopters report 15-20 hours saved weekly per project manager, 1%-2.5% lower material overspend, and tenfold faster supplier response times.
Krane targets complex builds-especially data centers, infrastructure, and biotech facilities-where supply chains are under intense pressure.
“Construction supply chain processes were never designed for today’s scale,” said Jayamanne, CEO. “We built Krane to shift that burden off field teams using an AI-driven operations layer.”
The round was led by Glasswing Ventures and Link Ventures, with participation from Tunitas Ventures, RoseCliff, and New-Normal Ventures.
