Navi AI Inc., a startup dedicated to improving pilot training, launched today with $6.7 million in funding. The AI platform analyzes flight data to enhance training efficiency and safety, turning every aircraft into a data source. By integrating telemetry, cockpit audio, and pilot data, Navi provides a detailed debrief of each flight, a process previously requiring days of manual analysis.

Nikola Kostic, founder and CEO, emphasized that Navi AI shifts aviation learning from reactive to proactive. 'Every training flight becomes data that teaches how to make the next one safer and more efficient,' he said.

Navi’s system supports human decision-making in the cockpit, offering structured flight debriefs and a context-aware AI assistant. It captures patterns, risks, and learning moments often missed in manual debriefs, aligning with FAA regulations and training syllabi.

The technology is already in use at leading flight schools, including Sling Pilot Academy, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. The funding comes from investors like United Airlines Ventures and the U.S. Department of War, which granted $1.27 million for adapting the technology for the U.S. Air Force.

At the Air Force Test Pilot School, Navi is customizing its AI-driven debriefing capabilities for the T-38 fleet, focusing on precision and rapid learning.
