Artificial intelligence cloud provider Runpod Inc. announced it raised $100 million in Series A funding led by Summit Partners, now valued at $1 billion.

This brings total funding to $122 million across multiple rounds. Runpod offers a comprehensive platform for AI developers, enabling experimentation, training, and deployment from a single dashboard.

CEO Zhen Lu emphasizes the need for a unified solution for developers, stating, "Builders need one place to take an idea from first experiment to production traffic."

Runpod has attracted over one million developers and processed more than 20 billion inference requests. Its serverless platform ensures swift deployment, with over 90 percent of workloads succeeding on the first try.

The company is committed to enhancing its platform and expanding its global developer reach with the new funding, focusing on infrastructure for AI researchers and model builders like Deep Cogito Inc., which benefited from Runpod’s capabilities.
