Blockchain security leader CertiK has introduced CertiK Hunt, a selective, invitation-only platform designed to connect top-tier security researchers with web3 projects. The initiative focuses on continuous vulnerability testing, moving beyond traditional one-time audits.

The new platform hosts bug bounty programs, audit competitions, and AI-powered security challenges. Unlike open platforms, researchers gain access based on proven technical skill and past findings. CertiK stated this curated model elevates submission quality and guarantees equitable treatment for all participants.

"We’ve seen too many cases across the industry where security researchers submit valid vulnerabilities only to face disputes or delayed payouts," said Margarita Kadochnikova, Head of Communications at CertiK. "CertiK Hunt is built to create a trusted environment where high-quality researchers can focus on finding impactful vulnerabilities."

CertiK, which supports over 5,000 organizations including Binance, the Ethereum Foundation, and Ripple, argues the tool is critical now as crypto exploits cost the industry billions. By complementing formal audits with ongoing lifecycle testing, the platform aims to harden protocol security after deployment.

"By building a network defined by signal and quality rather than volume, we are creating a platform where the best researchers can do their most impactful work," added Hudson Jameson, Head of Ecosystem at CertiK.
