Trust Wallet is adding a critical security layer for its 220 million users by integrating Intercepta’s real-time threat detection technology. The move flags risky transactions before they are signed on-chain.

The partnership is a direct response to a browser extension breach in December 2025 that resulted in approximately $7 million in user losses. Intercepta’s screening is designed to catch exactly that type of vulnerability.

Intercepta operates as infrastructure-level security. It plugs into wallets behind the scenes, running risk analysis in under one second. The platform monitors over 100,000 threats daily and claims a near-zero false positive rate below 0.001%.

This integration expands Intercepta’s massive footprint. The company already provides security for MetaMask and the DEX aggregator 1inch. Adding Trust Wallet makes Intercepta one of the most widely deployed security layers in the self-custody wallet ecosystem, covering over 300 million users.

Founded by Alexei Dulub around 2022, the company has quietly become foundational infrastructure. The trend underscores that proactive transaction screening is becoming standard, not optional, for major wallet platforms.
