After battling Stage 4 cancer for 15 years, Charlie Soh and his wife, Irene, will close 88 Katong Laksa permanently on Mar 29. The couple opened the stall in 2018 to ensure Irene had a livelihood after Charlie's passing. Despite health setbacks, including Charlie's hospitalizations and Irene's second-degree burns and knee surgery, they hosted a farewell meal for 50 seniors on Mar 23.
